Terms and Conditions for Letter Parcel International
1. What to send?
Letter Parcel International is suitable to send merchandise, gifts or other small items abroad. The service is simple and affordable.
2. Dimensions
Minimum Dimensions: 9 x 14 cm and thickness 2 cm
Maximum Dimensions: Length max 45 cm, width max 35 cm, thickness max 30 cm.
Length + width + thickness cannot exceed 90 cm.
Maximum weight: 2 kg per item
Please choose another service to send larger or heavier parcels.
3. Prices
All prices are based on weight and price zone. All prices are listed in Norwegian kroner (NOK), and they are exclusive of VAT and tracking.
4. Label and Customs Information
When ordering the service, you will be asked for information about sender and receiver(s), as well as the contents of the parcel. It is important that the customs information is as correct and as detailed as possible.
The label (CN 23) is to be printed and attached to the parcel. You do not have to write the address on the parcel.
If the parcel is small, please fold the label so that the right side containing the address information is attached to the front, and the left side is attached around.
Each label has a unique barcode for each parcel – this means that you must fill out/order the service for each parcel even though the recipient is the same.
The language standard is English, and all information must be given in English.

The parcel could be returned to you if the customs information is wrong or lacking. Be aware that you must declare the contents of the parcel even though it is marked as a “gift”.
If the contents value exceeds 5000 NOK, a customs fee of 278 NOK will be
invoiced separately.
5. Deadlines
The parcels should be delivered separately from other letters/mail and to be packaged correctly. Customers that have an agreement with us, can deliver the parcels directly to the terminal. The service can also be delivered to us through our pick-up/delivery agreement.
The first scan and trackable event for the parcel is at Postens Østlandsterminal. Be aware of your local delivery times. Mail that do not follow our terms, could be delayed and in some cases returned.
6. Forwarding time to recipients’ country
Upon arrival the parcel will go through customs before it can be delivered. Customs handling can lead to longer delivery time. If the Letter parcel cannot be delivered to the recipient’s mailbox, they will be notified of the pick-up point.
7. Labeling
All parcels are to have the standard CN 23 label that will be generated when you order through Mybring.
8. Delivery Time
Total delivery time depends on the distance, country and customs handling. The parcel is sent as International and prioritized Mail to the recipient’s country. 9. Addressing
Addressing with the correct name and address ensures that the mail reaches the right recipient without delay. See guidelines and rules for correct addressing to recipients abroad.
10. Additional Service
Some countries allow tracking upon delivery to recipient. Se complete list of which countries this is applicable here.
11. Privacy Terms
Posten Bring handling of personal information regarding the service is regulated in its own privacy term. This provides information on how we handle your personal information and your rights on this matter.
12. Ordering
Every parcel must be orderen through Mybring. The service is also available through our booking API. Label CN 23 is to be printed and attached to the parcels.
13. Invoicing
Registered order is the basis for invoicing.
14. Labeling and Contents

Parcels that contain dangerous goods in smaller amounts are to be labeled accordingly. See our regulations regarding forbidden goods and dangerous goods in smaller amounts.(Bring.no in Norwegian) Labeling is to be added to the front of the parcel, next to the transport label.
Posten Bring does not have any responsibilities for the contents of the parcel. It is the sender’s responsibility to follow the regulations in force at any given time.
Certain restrictions apply to certain types of goods, which the sender is obliged to familiarize themselves with.
15. Customs Documents
When exporting goods from Norway, it is important to ensure that customs processes and requirements are complied with.
The exporter must familiarize themselves with the rules and regulations for exporting goods form Norway, as well as importing goods to the recipient’s country.
Parcels must me declared in the customs before export for the following cases:
1. Goods with a high value. All shipments where the value exceeds 5000 NOK.
2. Temporary export. Alle shipments that require temporary export, for example goods that are sent abroad for reparations that are to be returned to Norway.
3. Re-export. Alle shipments that are re-exported, that have been imported to Norway at an earlier time.
Be aware that goods with a value under 5000 NOK still must be customs declared if they are subject to restrictions.
16. Compensation and Terms
Compensation for lost parcel, damaged parcel or late arrival/delayed delivery will not be given.
